  • Describe your thoughts, feelings and/or opinions regarding the resources you have collected.

    • Especially the UMass and MSU resources are incredibly detailed and thorough. They cover everything from what type of mouthpiece to own to how to breathe properly to embouchure technique. The Art of Playing the Saxophone delves very far into embouchure and tongue placement. Overall, I think I have covered every base and got many opinions on saxophone technique.
  • What was the most important and/or valued resources you gathered?

    • The Michigan State resource guide, which was sent to me by Professor Hulting-Cohen of UMass. It helps me make decisions on purchases and gives me plenty of warmup exercises to improve my breathing and scale knowledge. It also has a massive resource of repertoire for each saxophone variation and tips for phrasing.
  • What resources were you already familiar with?

    • The Art of Playing the Saxophone, the Ferling etude book, and the MSU resource guide are things I've been using for a while now.
  • What resource surprised you the most? Why?

    • The NASA site has a surprising amount of information within it if you dig. In the forums there are many additional links to resource sites.
  •  What percentage of resources and artifacts directly relate to your proposal A?

    • 100%
